The Nplate ® NEXUS Program
Nplate® is available through the Nplate® (Network of Experts Understanding and Supporting Nplate® and Patients) Program.1 You must enroll in the program in order to receive Nplate®. The Nplate® NEXUS Program is a single point of access for Nplate® therapy, including
- Education on the benefits and risks of Nplate®
- Optional ITP reimbursement assistance
- Monitoring program to collect patient safety data
Nplate® ITP reimbursement programs
Amgen supports three reimbursement programs which may be of assistance to eligible Nplate® patients.
- SAFETY NET®–Provides Nplate® at no cost to qualifying uninsured patients based on both household income and family size.
- Referrals to independently operated co-pay assistance foundations–Amgen provides financial support to independent third-party foundations to potentially assist appropriate patients with some out-of-pocket costs.
- The Nplate® Share Program–Provides a comprehensive reimbursement assistance program for qualifying, commercially insured ITP patients to help with their out-of-pocket expenses (such as co-insurance or co-payment). Under the program, Amgen reimburses 50% of an eligible patient's commercial co-insurance for Nplate®. Patients are enrolled in the program for a 12-month period based on their individual insurance plan year.
